Loganholme Suburb Information
Loganholme is located midway between The Gold Coast and Brisbane, Loganholme is approximately 25 minutes drive to the Brisbane CBD and 35 minutes drive to Surfers Paradise. It is about 35 minutes West of Ipswich or 25 minutes East of the Redlands Area, with easy access to the Logan Motorway.
Loganholme has long been a popular suburb for both investors and owner-occupiers looking for well-priced homes. The suburb offers quiet residential sections with parks and amenities and a mix of commercial, industrial, and retail hubs. This provides a good range of employment within the suburb and an ideal central location for commuters to Brisbane, Ipswich and the Gold Coast.
Loganholme offers significant employment centres in construction, retail trade, manufacturing and wholesale trade, with more than 5,750 jobs in the suburb.
Loganholme Transport
Translink offers many bus services throughout the suburb, with a major bus interchange located at the Logan Hyperdome, which provides connectivity with major centres within Logan and the Brisbane CBD. And it’s less than ten minutes to Park and Ride Facilities at either Holmview or Meadowbrook for those looking for trains to Brisbane CBD or the Gold Coast.
Whilst the suburb has traditionally been home mainly to detached housing, recently, demand for the suburb and population growth has lead to medium density townhouse and apartment developments, which will assist in catering for the population growth that the suburb is seeing.

Demographically, Loganholme is a family area. With families accounting for 56% of households and couples for 27%.
Several public and private schools are located in the suburb or close by in the adjacent suburbs, giving students a range of learning options. In addition, Loganholme has several Childcare facilities as well as medical practices and specialists.
Logan Hyperdome
Logan Hyperdome Shopping Centre is the largest shopping centre in Logan and Australia’s largest single-storey shopping centre. The Logan City Council has a library at the far northern end of the centre.
AT 81,000 m2 The Logan Hyperdome Shopping Centre offers more than 214 Stores and other services such as Cinemas, restaurants, and food courts.
In addition to the Logan Hyperdome, there are additional retail centres at Loganholme Village Shopping Centre, Woolworths Centre Cornubia, Harvey Norman Loganholme, Drew’s Road IGA Centre and Leawarra Lane.
There are numerous light industrial businesses in the Chetwyn Street and Burchill Street industrial precinct and multiple office buildings located along the Pacific Highway Service Road. There are ample international and national tenants situated in these areas, and new construction of both office and light industrial buildings is currently underway.
Alexander Clarke Park
Alexander Clarke Park is the suburbs central recreational area. It offers a range of facilities and activities, including walking tracks, picnic tables, toilets, barbecues, children’s playground, bikeways, dog off-leash area, wheelchair access, paddle a canoe, bird watching, and fishing.

The Coomera Connector New M1 Motorway
Loganholme is the Northern connection point for the new Coomera Connector, sometimes referred to as the second M1. The future north-south road corridor is set to run east of the Pacific Motorway between Loganholme and Nerang.
The new road will be an alternative to the current M1, providing more transport capacity, which will support the rapidly growing residential and business communities in the northern Gold Coast and Logan areas.
The entire gazetted corridor extends 45km between the Logan Motorway and Pacific Motorway interchange at Loganholme and Nerang–Broadbeach Road in Nerang.
This new piece of infrastructure will make travel between Loganholme and the Gold Coast easier and lessen the congestion on the existing motorway.
Loganholme’s central location and numerous transport, shopping, employment and recreational options should see the suburb remain a popular area for both investors and owner-occupiers moving forward.
