Bellbird Park, Duplex Pair, Rod and Lauren

Background

A married couple were looking for an investment opportunity that would supply some capital uplift as well as a good rental return. It was decided that a Duplex strategy would suit their needs. We were limited by budget but were able to identify a suitable block of land through our network that was close to schools and other desirable amenities.

We undertook due diligence on the project to ensure that a Duplex would be an acceptable solution for this site. We supplied a custom design which was presented to Council and rejected. We later submitted an amended design that was approved as it incorporated acceptable egress/ingress and a more aesthetically pleasing façade.

Outcomes

The strategy worked well for the buyers, as they consequently parted company and were able to take ownership of one unit each.
